How to choose the size of carbide burrs

Rotary files are generally used in conjunction with high-speed electric grinders or pneumatic tools, and can be used for various production processing needs, such as processing cast iron, cast steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, hardened steel, copper and aluminum, etc. .

Before purchasing a rotary file, you must first select the size of the rotary file you need to use, and then read the instruction manual before use to select the appropriate speed for use. What are the types of rotary files?

Scale classification of rotary files:

The selection of cemented carbide rotary files is mainly based on the head diameter Dc and the shank diameter D2, of which the head blade diameter L2 and the overall length L1 can be selected according to specific operating requirements.

1. Standard rotary file

This shank length is a common standard for work, and the shank diameter (D2) is mainly 3mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 2.35mm can be selected.

2. Miniature rotary file

The diameter of the head of this rotary file is small, and the diameter of the shank is generally 3mm. Because of its high concentricity, it is more suitable for trimming of fine-station components.

3. Extended handle rotary file

The length of this shank can be selected according to special working conditions. Especially suitable for processing hard to touch or deep areas. The shank of the extended handle is not as long as possible, because too long will cause it to form a certain vibration during the grinding operation and then affect the operation.

When choosing the size, you can choose the appropriate rotary file according to the work needs, and you must wear protective glasses when using it.
