Because cemented carbide has high hardness and good wear resistance, it is an advantage. However, high hardness also increases the difficulty of processing. Therefore, many manufacturers will use some other material to weld non-critical parts.

Carbide welding should pay attention to the following points:

1. Cemented carbide itself is a powder metallurgy sintered product with high hardness. When welding, try to directly burn the cemented carbide with fire, which will easily cause the cemented carbide to crack.

2. In order not to make the heating too high, the cemented carbide can be welded, and the melting point of silver is higher than that of copper, so that the heating of the cemented carbide is reduced.

3. In places with cold climates, it is best to use quicklime for heat preservation of welded cemented carbide products. During welding, the cemented carbide is heated violently. Once the heating is discontinued, the cemented carbide cools again, causing the cemented carbide to crack.

4. For the strong welding of cemented carbide, try to put some flux first.
